Slab Leak Water Loss

SERVPRO of Stone Mountain/Clarkston was called to this home due to a water loss. This was caused by a slab leak under the hardwoods in the home. As you can see in the before picture of the closet, the flooring had buckled too badly to be saved. If this had been caught earlier, we would have been able to set a piece of equipment called a mat system. Unfortunately, the only thing we could do at this point was remove the damaged material so we could dry the slab beneath. Slab leaks are hard to know about until the damage is seen like in this picture.
